Connooga 2018 Wrap-up

Hello everybody!  I’m back from another great year at Connooga.  First, let me start by apologizing to anyone that came out on Saturday to see me.  I came down with a bad case of food poisoning late Friday night, and it knocked me out of commission for all of Saturday.  Other than that, the show was great.

It’s always nice to get to see my con buddies and sit in on some great panels.  I will be posting the audio from these panels throughout the week.  I got to hang out with one of my favorite writers, Brian Keene, who is just the best guy if you ever have a chance to meet him.  It was also great to see my other writer friends, Kenyon T. Henry and Philip Ligon.

My favorite part of course is getting to meet all the awesome people who come out to the show.  I saw a lot of familiar faces and was able to meet a lot of new people as well.  To everyone that came out this weekend and stopped by to say hello, thanks.  Sorry, I wasn’t able to be there on Saturday.  Check back everyday this week for the audio from the panels I was able to be a part of to hear some of the fun that we had.  Thanks, and we’ll see you next year Connooga.

Atlanta Steampunk Exposition 2017 – Wrap-up

Good morning all, I wanted to thank everyone that came by at Atlanta Steampunk Exposition (ASE) and picked up a book.  This was the show’s first year, and it was a great show.  We saw a lot of great, top-tier cosplay, and I had the opportunity to meet some great independent authors like myself.

Here are just two examples of the cosplay that was on display.

If you are a fan of steampunk fiction, this was the con for you.  ASE had a lot of great authors, and I was able to pick up some books.  You can click on any of the covers below to pick up the books that I added to my library this weekend.

ASE 2017 was a success in my opinion.  A lot of people attended and everyone appeared to have a great time.  We have received confirmation that they will be doing a second show in 2018.  If possible, I hope to be a part of it.  Thank you very much to everyone that came out, if you weren’t able to make it, I hope to see you at another show sometime soon.

Hello faithful readers, I have two more shows before the end of the year.

The first is Christmas in Lithia.  This show is on November 11-12 at Lithia Springs High School.  It is a craft show featuring a variety of vendors, I will be there with copies of my books alongside my wife, who will have her prints and coloring books available.  My sister-in-law will be joining us with her collection of handmade, geek-inspired bags and pouches.  For more information, you can click here.

On November 18-19, I will be at the Atlanta Steampunk Exposition at the Atlanta Marriott at the Galleria.  This promises to be a fun show.  The weekend before Thanksgiving, this show will be debuting with a host of steampunk guests and authors.  If you are a steampunk enthusiast, then I urge you to come out.  You can click here for more information.

If you are looking for Christmas gifts that are not your average store bought merchandise, or you want some autographed books for yourself or someone special, then both of these shows are places to find them.  Also, if you happen to be in the area on those dates and are looking for something to do, I think you’ll have a good time at either event.  Hope to see you there.

Hello everyone.  This weekend, I will be back in Chattanooga, TN for Steampunk Expo.  The show starts on Friday, April 15th, and will run through Sunday.

I’ll be sharing a booth with my wife and cover artist.  If you are in the area, or just attending the show, drop by and pick up a book and some fun art or just say hello.  Hope to see you there.
