It’s that time of year again, and I will be back at Dragoncon. You can find me in the Art Show at my cover artist’s table. Check out some of the exciting things that she’ll have over at her facebook page. You can come pick up copies of the Winston & Baum Steampunk Adventures, as well as my other books.
Also, keep checking back throughout Labor Day weekend (starting on Saturday) to see what Kindle specials I’ll be running during the convention. Thanks for stopping by and keep checking back.
Next weekend, I will be attending Connooga (February 19-21) in Chattanooga, TN. Last year was my first year as a guest of the con (my first-time as a guest at any con). Connooga is a fun con that is growing, but has not reached that apex peak like conventions such as Comic-con or Dragoncon. Good guests, fun panels, great cosplay, and diverse vendors/artists/authors make this my favorite con in the Southeast right now.
A few people have asked about any panels that I am apart of, and I now have a schedule for those.
Scary Story Time – 7:00
Horror of Sci-Fi – 12:00
Early American Serial Killers – 1:00
Research for Writers: Getting It Right – 10:00
Writing Tales of Terror – 1:00
When I am not on a panel, I will be at a booth with my wife and cover artist, selling copies of my books and her artwork or wondering the con taking a little break. So, please drop by and say hello, or if some of these panels catch your eye drop by and enjoy. Hope to see you next weekend, and keep checking back to find out what I’m up to.
I’m back from Dragoncon 2015. This was another fun year with lots of great costumes, guests, and attendees. I got to meet a lot of new people and sell some books, which is always nice. My wife, Caralyn, had a phenomenal year in the art show. A big thank you to everyone that came out, met us, and took one of her little guys home.

It was also my pleasure to meet author Bobby Nash. I was able to sit in on several of his panels and even had the opportunity to pick up his Domino Lady novel: Money Shot.
Me & Bobby McGee…Nash, I mean Bobby Nash
If you get a chance please visit his website or author’s page, and pick up Domino Lady: Money Shot by clicking the cover below.
Hello all, tomorrow I will be at Dragoncon. As always, I will be attending with my lovely and talented wife in the art show. Since she is also my cover artist, I will have some copies of my books for sale at her table. As followers of my blog, you may be aware of Lollipop Jones & Pecan Sandie. For those of you who prefer to have a book rather than read a webpage or for those of you who just like rare things; from now on I will be carrying The Case Files of Lollipop Jones & Pecan Sandie Volume 1 in print. This volume will only be available from me at shows and is not available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or any other book retailer. So, if you swing by the table, you can get what is sure to be a priceless collector’s item for only $5. My novels will be available at the Dragoncon rate of $10. Come by and pick up some awesome art (like these little steampunk guys), grab a book, or just stop by and say hello.
If you aren’t attending Dragoncon but will be attending the Decatur Book Festival this Labor Day weekend, please stop by and see Jay & Katie Barber and pick up their fun books. Thanks all, I’m sure I’ll have a wrap-up post after Dragoncon.
* Please note: The Case Files of Lollipop Jones & Pecan Sandie Volume 1 may not become a priceless collector’s item.
Below is the Ghost Story that I told as part of the Ghost Story panel at Connooga 2015. The audience member before me, told a very emotional and dark story of one of his encounters. Because of this, I adjusted my telling of this story. Anyone, who has ever heard me tell this tale, knows that I normally emphasize the darker nature of it. Given the somber mood of the room, I wanted to lighten it up and rev the audience back up. So I decided to emphasize the humor in it. I’ll go ahead and apologize for the less than fantastic audio quality, but you should be able to hear everything just fine. Enjoy!
Hello all. Back from Connooga where Caralyn and I had a blast. We got to meet a lot of awesome people and hang out. I had the honor of being a part of a Ghost Story panel, where authors and attendees alike got to tell their true encounters with strange phenomenon. I will be posting the story that I told, recorded for your enjoyment. So for all of you wonderful people from Connooga, welcome to radioactiverabbitink.com. To show our appreciation for stopping by and because you guys were so awesome, I am running a free book promotion on Amazon for Monday (3/2/2015). You can get my most recent e-short “Friends Don’t Let Friends be Undead” for your kindle free! Click on the cover below to go to the page.
For more information on the other books and shorts I have available, please check out my current fiction page. Thanks for checking in and for all of our new readers, thanks for coming by and keep checking back to see what I’ve got going on.

I look forward to getting to meet some of you awesome people this weekend.
It has been a while since my last post. Mainly because I have been busy trying to get everything ready. So I’ll start with the good news. A newly edited version of my first novel Friedkin’s Curse: A Werewolf Tale of Terror is available for the Kindle. You can click on the cover below to go to Amazon and pick it up.
If you’ve already purchased the book previously, then you can download the updated version at no cost. Now for the really exciting part, since it has been edited and is all shiny and new, Friedkin’s Curse is available in print for the first time ever. You can find it by clicking the cover below.
As of this posting, Amazon is selling it for $9.74, the normal retail price is $10.99 so that’s not a bad deal. Especially, if you are looking for something to round out the cart for free shipping. Also, I will be attending Connooga from February 27 – March 1. I will have copies of the two published Winston & Baum steampunk adventures, as well as copies of Friedkin’s Curse for sale. I’ll be sharing a table with my lovely wife and cover artist Caralyn (www.mysticreflections.com). So if you live in the Chattanooga area or feel like coming up and enjoying a con, we look forward to seeing you there. Thanks for reading and keep checking back to see what I’m working on next.
Hello, as you know I was offering Richard Rex & The Succubus of Whitechapel free on the Kindle yesterday. Today, September 4, 2014, you can pick up my other short story for free. So if you like monsters and cowboys, please pick up your free copy of The Terror Beneath Cactus Flats for your Kindle. Just click on the cover below and enjoy.
Hey, I’d like to give a big welcome to everyone that we got to meet at Dragoncon this year. It was a great year for my cover artist and myself. She sold a lot of great pieces to people and I only brought home 1 book, so that’s great. To all of you who picked up a book from me, thank you and it was very nice to get to meet you all. If you did not get a book, but are interested in electronic copies for your Kindle, you can find them on my site under the Winston & Baum page or Current Fiction tab.
Because we had such a stellar weekend and I got to talk to so many of the awesome people that attended the convention, I will be making a special announcement tomorrow. So check back for more information and thanks for looking us up.
