Next weekend, I will be attending Connooga (February 19-21) in Chattanooga, TN. Last year was my first year as a guest of the con (my first-time as a guest at any con). Connooga is a fun con that is growing, but has not reached that apex peak like conventions such as Comic-con or Dragoncon. Good guests, fun panels, great cosplay, and diverse vendors/artists/authors make this my favorite con in the Southeast right now.
A few people have asked about any panels that I am apart of, and I now have a schedule for those.
Scary Story Time – 7:00
Horror of Sci-Fi – 12:00
Early American Serial Killers – 1:00
Research for Writers: Getting It Right – 10:00
Writing Tales of Terror – 1:00
When I am not on a panel, I will be at a booth with my wife and cover artist, selling copies of my books and her artwork or wondering the con taking a little break. So, please drop by and say hello, or if some of these panels catch your eye drop by and enjoy. Hope to see you next weekend, and keep checking back to find out what I’m up to.
I’m back from Dragoncon 2015. This was another fun year with lots of great costumes, guests, and attendees. I got to meet a lot of new people and sell some books, which is always nice. My wife, Caralyn, had a phenomenal year in the art show. A big thank you to everyone that came out, met us, and took one of her little guys home.

It was also my pleasure to meet author Bobby Nash. I was able to sit in on several of his panels and even had the opportunity to pick up his Domino Lady novel: Money Shot.
Me & Bobby McGee…Nash, I mean Bobby Nash
If you get a chance please visit his website or author’s page, and pick up Domino Lady: Money Shot by clicking the cover below.
Hello all, tomorrow I will be at Dragoncon. As always, I will be attending with my lovely and talented wife in the art show. Since she is also my cover artist, I will have some copies of my books for sale at her table. As followers of my blog, you may be aware of Lollipop Jones & Pecan Sandie. For those of you who prefer to have a book rather than read a webpage or for those of you who just like rare things; from now on I will be carrying The Case Files of Lollipop Jones & Pecan Sandie Volume 1 in print. This volume will only be available from me at shows and is not available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or any other book retailer. So, if you swing by the table, you can get what is sure to be a priceless collector’s item for only $5. My novels will be available at the Dragoncon rate of $10. Come by and pick up some awesome art (like these little steampunk guys), grab a book, or just stop by and say hello.
If you aren’t attending Dragoncon but will be attending the Decatur Book Festival this Labor Day weekend, please stop by and see Jay & Katie Barber and pick up their fun books. Thanks all, I’m sure I’ll have a wrap-up post after Dragoncon.
* Please note: The Case Files of Lollipop Jones & Pecan Sandie Volume 1 may not become a priceless collector’s item.
I just wanted to write and tell everyone that could not make it out that last Friday night at the Hiram Bookstore was a lot of fun. We got to meet some really nice people, and sold some books. For those that are interested in an autographed copy of either Winston & Baum and the Secret of the Stone Cirle (Book 1) or Winston & Baum and the 7 Mummies of Sekhmet (Book 2), several autographed copies of each book are still available at the Hiram Bookstore.
I would like to thank Lexus and Bryan, the bookstore staff, for taking such good care of us and providing us with a nice shop in which to introduce Winston & Baum to a new community. Also a big thank you to Cheeseburger Bobby’s, Yogli Mogli, and Gater Games in Hiram. These nearby businesses allowed us to pass out fliers, business cards, and bookmarks to their patrons.
Please keep checking back to see where I’ll be next, and if you are near Hiram, drop into the Hiram Bookstore and pick up your autographed copy today. Already have an autographed copy drop by anyway, it’s a nice bookstore that I would highly recommend. Thanks for checking in and hope to be in a bookstore near you soon.
