Independent Authors
Independent Authors that I’ve enjoyed reading.
Hello again friends. I wanted to let everyone know that I will be doing a book signing in Hiram at Hiram Books. This will be on Friday August 8th from 5pm-8pm. I will be signing both books in the Winston & Baum Steampunk Adventure series. This is the first book signing for Winston & Baum and the Seven Mummies of Sekhmet. Winston & Baum and the Secret of the Stone Circle will also be available for purchase. So spread the word and I hope to see everyone there.
Hiram Books can be found on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Hiram-Books/468301566592117
Hiram Books is located at 5077 Jimmy Lee Smith Pkwy #109, Hiram, GA 30141. They are right beside Cheeseburger Bobby’s, so stop for a bite to eat and then walk on down and get an awesome book. Hope to see you there.
Once again as an independent author, I would like to point out a fellow member of the independent crowd: John G. Hartness. John has several different series currently running, Bubba the Monster Hunter and the Black Knight Chronicles. I have read all the Bubba the Monster Hunter series and have enjoyed all of them. Bubba is a southern fried hero if ever there was one. He’s a SEC-loving, God-fearing, shotgun toting mammoth, who works at killing the things that go bump in the night. Just click on the covers below to be taken right to their Amazon page. You have several options when it comes to Bubba the Monster Hunter, John has released these in collected editions for $2.99 (each collections contains 4 stories):
And also individual stories for $.99 (below are the first 4 stories, just look at those titles):
John has even started writing stories about Bubba’s great-grandfather in what he has coined “shine punk.” It’s like steam punk with moonshine.
So please pick up some of this phenomenal authors books, and be sure to keep checking back as we highlight other independent authors.
Hello everyone. As an independent author, I feel it is important to spread the word about other independent authors. Any author that I post about is an author that I have read and enjoyed their work. So for my first independent author shoutout, I would like to use Bernard Schaffer. He has several different pieces currently available, but I’m most familiar with his Guns of Seneca 6 series.
This weird western series is a good fit for fans of Tombstone or Firefly. He takes classic western motifs and characters and adds science fiction elements that enrich the story. If you are a fan of weird westerns or just westerns, then I highly recommend these books. Click on the covers to be taken to the individual book’s page. If you don’t feel like getting each “chamber” separately, then click on the bottom link for the compiled collection.
Thanks for stopping by and if you’re a fan of the weird western check out my weird western, Terror Beneath Cactus Flats.
